Exhibition ‘Entidades: singular y plural’
Visit the art exhibition that tours the hotel’s spaces
The exhibition “Entities: Singular and Plural” brings together the works of Sonia Colón and Rafael Cerdá in a pictorial dialogue about the presence and meaning of the body in space.
Colón approaches the entity as a “singular figure”, often childlike, depicted with restrained realism against abstract backgrounds built through layers and glazes. These mental scenarios suspend the figure in a “place without anecdote”, where colour interrupts stillness and reinforces a presence that does not narrate, but insists.
Cerdá, by contrast, explores the plural: “urban bodies fragmented by transparencies and vertical rhythms” that suggest movement and memory. His compositions overlay silhouettes and reflections, revealing shifting identities.
Together, both perspectives create a tension between the individual and the collective, the still and the fleeting, inviting reflection on what is visible and what escapes within the shared human experience.
